Through Revelation 22; starting over, now through Genesis 5
Many of you may know that my father, Orlo Brenneman, passed away,
94 years of age, on Sunday, April 11. We have been very busy with all the
affairs of the services, burial, and other business involved with his passing.
“Daddy” was ready to be with Jesus, and, as his physical body was failing, we
could all see the mercy of God in taking him home. I’m not seeking sympathy or
condolence, because I have all the promises in the Word of God — especially I
Thessalonians 4. This is a case where rejoicing far outweighs grief.
FAbook
At this point, I am still considering how to handle the “FAbook”
page. I have received an entry, but I am not quite ready to post entries. Please
be patient.

Through Revelation 11
Last night, as I was sleeping, many things were going through my
mind in the form of a series of dreams about decisions being made, actions being
taken, and communications between people. Somewhere in there, someone said,
“Where did you hear that?” about a bit of information, and the response was, “It
was on Faithbook!”
What? What!! That actually woke me up! Not Facebook, but
Faithbook! I do not know if this is a new idea in the world, but it was
definitely a revelation to me, and I knew immediately that God wanted me to
launch what will be a new feature, as is announced on the home page.
As it turns out, the name “Faithbook” has already been taken, and
I do not want to find myself in a lawsuit, so I am giving the new feature the
name “FAbook” instead.
I’ve made a modest effort to get the ball rolling. Let’s watch
together and see how God blesses!

Through Jude
In reading from Hebrews through Jude since Wednesday, I am
overwhelmed with all the deep and convicting teachings packed into these
epistles. But, of all I read, Hebrews 10, unquestionably, impressed me the most.
I am still just meditating and absorbing what the Holy Spirit showed me, so I
can’t begin to express what I saw by the Holy Spirit. All I’ll say now is that
Hebrews 10 might possibly be the most important single chapter in the Bible for
showing the significance of Christ’s sacrifice, and its effect, in comparison to
the Old Testament sacrifices. I encourage everyone to read it. Read all of
Hebrews; then read chapter 10 again, and let what it says, in context, saturate
your mind and heart. As the Lord leads, one of these days, I may venture to put
into words, with the help of the Holy Spirit, what He opened up to me, that
Hebrews 10 is saying.
